Cozy, warm and spacious restaurant. Quiet and seems to be frequented by a lot of solo travellers. Glad we found this restaurant snugly located in the back alleys near the museum. The waiter recommended the signature sedef dish, it's a mix of their homemade pasta, paprika stuffed with meat and rice, meatballs and veal stew. The meats are tender and the stew itself is just delicious. The cevapi is also flavourful, delicious. Recommended for anyone looking to try traditional Bosnian dishes.
A family run restaurant serving delicious authentic Bosnian food. Very quiet & comfortable with outdoor seating & indoor dining, inside an alley. One dish is Km20. Service is very good.... Came here 2nd time after 1 week.
authentic restaurant. Super delicios food in a nice little backjard. The meat was so smooth and everything was perfectly cooked.
Very tasty traditional Bosnian meals, nice staff, relaxing atmosphere. Do not miss it if you are in Sarajevo.
Right nearby a few popular museums and in the center of the popular old town area, randomly walked past after a museum visit at dinner time so decided to give it a try - Brilliant food for very reasonable price! As a tourist you kind of always hear the old saying avoid restaurants in very touristic areas, but this one was definitely a very nice surprise that exceeded all expectations! Family restaurant serving traditional Bosnian cuisines. Very delicious food (looks authentic too), nice vibe and friendly service. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. If you’re looking to try some traditional local food, this is probably one of the best places to go around here. I’ve tried quite a few restaurants in this area and so far this is the best I’ve been on this trip. Dessert is a must try too. Love that it isn’t too sweet at all.
Honestly I had just arrived in the city and I wanted to try the local food, well, glad to say that I found what I think is one of the best and honest places to eat. Čevapi is great, even the homemade wine! You need to drink it! Take your time and eat slowly breathing the chill ambient sorrounding you! The waiters are very kind and they offer us Rakija, what a good present! Can't wait to get back the last day of my holiday to eat their main dishes!
I’m not even done eating and had to stop to write this…. Amazing home cooked food taste so good I got the sedef sahan which a little bit of everything and omg is it good my wife got the pasta dish which I have on my plate but it was even better in her plate I would also recommend the stuff pepper dish
This restaurant is down an alley. The kitchen looks like it belongs in someone’s home. It seemed like a family was running the restaurant. Cash only. Our food was delicious and tasted homemade. We had a shoska salad. We had a sampler plate with stew, stuffed peppers, creamed spinach, meatball, ravioli, and mashed potatoes. My favorite was the beef bean soup. They served Bosnian bread. We asked for olive oil to put on our bread. They serve beer and wine. Prices are reasonable.
